INFORMATION:

Three consecutive lecture sessions from 08h45-16h15.
-
An assignment must be submitted for grading 18 days after
completing the lectures.

Dr Lionel Smalley will personally conduct each course and grade the
qualifying assignment.
COURSE
CONTENTS:

How to make project planning a success.
-
Differentiating between project planning and scheduling.
-
Conducting a project drive-force analysis prior to planning.
-
Developing appropriate project planning documentation.
-
Scheduling the various activities in order to determine the
project's total duration (workdays or workweeks) and critical path(s).
-
Managing delays on projects.
-
Using the "crashing" procedure in competitive bidding
situations.
-
Developing and implementing effective methods to fast-track
projects.
-
Developing and implementing an effective cost management system.
-
Initiating a project tradeoff analysis
-
Managing project risk.

R25000 per candidate. Includes a copy of Dr. Lionel Smalley's self-help
book, course notes/handouts and catering.

Seating per course is
limited to a maximum of ten candidates.

Successful candidates each
receive a certificate of competency.
